WOYWW #61 - Still Gilding Birdcages

and getting a bit sick of it - another one in the bag, but just realised that I have forgotten to spray with Lily Pad first - still never no mind it can be done afterwards!

As you can see from the piccie I am completely unable to work unless it looks like a crafting storm has taken place in the vicinity .... ho hum I don't expect that to ever change, but it is minimal collateral damage this week.

Grab a coffee and hop over to the lovely Mrs Dunnit's blog to have a snoop around all the other WOYWWers' hang outs.

Right, 3 down and 3 more to go .... they must be done by today otherwise I will not make the deadline - apart from that not much going on here today (might have lunch out with Rubbah Elf and Toodles but it is raining at the moment and therefore not currently condusive to al fresco dining).

Hugs
Kay

I don't think I would ever get tired of seeing those bird cages. Of course, I don't have the die, so that might be the reason. Have a great WOYWW.

I've just taken up your suggestion and grabbed myself a lovely cup of coffee. Love the effect you have got on the cages.

I love the gilded cages, are they for a class? As for mess, I know where you are coming from, I always need more and more stuff around me when I craft.

I can't find a post that says why you're doing so many, clearly I've missed something. If it's any consolation - they look fab. What are the bits of mdf at left for???? Ooh always interesting at your place! Love the way you like the hot fix crystals and want more - so get em for the store - totally my logic too!

I have so many questions about these birdcages. I won't ask them all in your comments section, but I think I asked about it last week too. Are these the ones out of flour and water? Would you mind if I emailed you and asked a few questions? I obviously admire them :)

Brave gilding so many birdcages.. I love the result but hate doing it as I end up walking in it, wearing it, and eating it for a week after.
