WOYWW #68 - Oh Tuesday Night at the Movies ......

don't care what picture weeeee seeeeeee eee, anyone going to sing along?  Don't blame you I'm tone deaf.

My TSS tools ~you know the ones that Alison positively held me at gun point til I caved and bought them~ desparately needed a home, so I had a shift around and used one of my Ikea storage jars (minus the lid), which is perfecto for the job .... and looks x10 better than the scruffy plastic (not to mention paint strewn) oversized tub that they were housed in.

So I set to with some Sir Tim *Duke of Distress* Grungepaper, my Stampers Anonymous "At the Movies" set, Stampers Anonymous Ticket stamp, Distress Inks (Fired Brick and Walnut Stain), Nestie pinking circles dies, Tissue Tape, Claudine Hellmuth Matte Medium, Pin Flair Gel Glue and Websters Pages trim.  As it's Movie themed it will be another project for Sunday Stampers Challenge with Miss Hels.

No to the business of the day, as 'tis Wednesday, and the Queen of Crafty Desks ~ the lovely Miss Julia ~ has decreed that we show off ours... so here it is:

To the right is a pile of stamps (see above) and a small tray of Sir Time *Duke of Distress* goodies that I shoplifted yesterday from the new shop that arrived at the Galaxy.  Actually, I have spied some yummy tiny shabby chic crates at Kitty's today, that this plastic tray will be replaced with shortly!

To the left is small plastic tray with various rescued stamped images, used bottle cap and plastic from Sir Tim packaging.

As for the rest, it is not too untidy this week ~truth be told I had a tidy yesterday, when I could not see even an inch!

Last week Julia commented that it was unusual that my Alterations dies were still in their packaging.  I keep them in their to stop the worst of the dust (I am rubbish at housework), but I do cut off the top of each box for easy access.

Thanks, as usual, for all the lovely comments last week they are always gratefully received.  I managed to get around all of the desks, and leave comments on quite a few.

Happy crafting

Hugs

I think your decorated storage jar is a winner. Its a wonder we don't decorate everything in sight as we all have so much paper etc.
I am very impressed with your die storage, when I get a new one the packaging goes in the bin. I find it too fiddly to keep putting them away and getting them out of the packaging.
Have a great week!

You have more stamps on your desk than I own! Those TSS tools look like they are happy in the container they're in. But I would probably opt for a basket or some vertical storage.

Looks like you did a major tidy if you only had one inch left. Very tidy this week. Happy WOYWW from # 2.

I just cut of the top of the packaging on my dies last week. First I took them all out to throw away the packaging and then realized that I didn't like not having it so I rescued it all and cut the tops off. Nice to see I am not the only one :) Love all the TH stuff on your desk.

Hah! the dust bunnies rule my house too so I know what you mean. Love the TSS tool storage! (14)

I keep as much stuff as I can in their original packages. It makes storage easier like being able to hang my MS punches. As for dust, well, a craft room wouldn't be that without it eh!!

I leave my Alterations dies in their packaging too - I don't get them out THAT often because when I do, I always sit there for half an hour cutting shapes out of anything I can lay my hands on, which keeps me going for a while!

I've got some money to spend and you've just reminded me that I was thinking of getting some TSS stuff! Helen (46

I was just thinking what a lovely idea it is to decorate those little jars. Then it dawned on me that I wouldn't be able to see into mine if I did that as they hold lots of little things - der!

I know, I'll get my coat....

Thanks for the nosey :-)

What a lovely lot of stash there - have fun playing! I too keep my dies in their packaging due to the dust that accumulates and is never cleared away! Sunshine Girl (28)
