WOYWW #88 - Week 2 of UK STampers Journal

I am playing catch up on the UK STampers Weekly Journal Challenge, and this is my Week 2 page that is well under way now.

I used Ecoline watercolour in Blue, white acrylic paint and  Lumiere Paint in Amethyst for the background.  The text stamp is the "The Kiss of the Sun" text stamp from our BIU Roses sheet.  I also used a Bling template to make the swirls and a black glaze pen and white signo.  Still a work in progress though.

I have to say I am not happy with the journal as it has cracked along the spine.

Not much going on in my world at the moment, apart from packing orders and working on new stamps, but there are 7 sleeps til I leave for Artsy Craft and the lovely Sir Tim (Duke of Distress).

Why don't you grab a coffee and head off to our Fair Queen Julia's to see what all the other WOYWWERS are up to.

Happy crafting.

Kay

Is it a hard back journal then - or was it meant to be a lay flat? How disappointing - but on the bright side - you can make a new cover for it - in your 1 hour sleep time!

Whenever I see your desk it reminds me to look for those jewel template thingys (I'm sure they have a more sensible name!)

Did you see Mr Holtz was wandering around Leeds shopping then eating fish & chips? very funny pics

Hope you can find a way to repair the spine of your book, so upsetting for that to happen. In the meantime, have a wonderful time crafting with Tim. Please show us some of the things you learn about.
